Isolite is producing insulating firebricks since its establishment in 1927. We are serving major industries like iron and steel, petrochemical, ceramics etc. both in Japan and abroad and contributing to their thermal management and energy saving efforts. In 1990, Isolite set up a modern plant in Malaysia to cope with increasing demands for insulating firebricks. With the theme of the best products from best manufacturing points, today we supply quality insulating firebricks worldwide with speed and the most careful attention.

ISOWOOL ceramic fibers are applicable to high temperature insulations ranging from 1000℃ to 1700℃. Using electrically melted highly purified materials, those fibers are formed by the air-blown method, having excellent properties of refractoriness and insulation. ISOWOOL ceramic fibers are available in a variety of forms surving users' specific needs and applications. As the leader of the industry, supplying quality products to customers both in Japan and abroad, Isolite strives for developing new products expanding the range of applications in new areas such as environmental protection, metal matrix composites, next-generation materials, etc.

Furnace Design & Construction Div. provides customers a complete service ranging from consultation on lining method and design, material selection to installation, inspection, and repair work. Our diagnosis with thermal image device will exactly tell customers the operating condition of furnaces and what to do for the betterment of the operation.

With abundant knowledge and experiences pooled and cultivated at Isolite through the manufacturing, sales and service of insulating firebricks and ceramic fibers, Isolite continues to develop new thermal solutions and value-added products such as machinable ceramics, setters for firing electronics components, acoustic materials, spaceship tiles, high-temparature dust collecting filters, metal matrix composites, new-generation materials, etc.

Isolite manufactures and sells fire protection materials based on ceramic fiber. The noncombustible materials supersede conventional rock wool and slag wool in heat tolerance by 500℃ or more.

Using diatomaceous earth preserved in the Note Peninsula、Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, Isolite produces CG, soil conditioning granules to be used in city parks, golf courses, athletic fields and gardening, etc. Isolite continues to focus on developing products for the preservation of environment, reduction of green house gas emission, water purification, etc. making best use of technologies cultivated in its manufacturing.
